Ingredients:   Green Tea (Sencha Tea Leaves), Toasted Organic Brown Rice, Dry Roasted Almonds

American Royal Tea introduces a new tea: Gollygee Genmaicha (Genmaich is pronounced with a hard g-like “GEH-YEN-my-cha”).A toasty, nutty,   tea with vegetal tasting notes, Gollygee Genmaicha is the perfect accompaniment to lunch or evening meals or just by itself. A caffeinated green tea, my  Genmaicha is now made with early season sencha green tea leaves and toasted brown rice, and is popularly known as “popcorn tea” for it’s nutty,  natural flavor. My blend includes dry roasted, unsalted almonds, which is the perfect blend to aid in digestion and relaxation. Like all of teas and  infusions at American Royal Tea, Gollygee Genmaicha is 100% organic (including organic brown rice) and non-GMO.

(*This tea is lightly caffeinated. Green tea has a low amount of caffeine, but less caffeine than black tea.)

Ingredients:   Rare White Peony tea (Bai Mu Dan) and wild organic sustainably foraged Spruce tips

It’s like a cup of fog in a spruce forest!

Bai Mu Dan –commonly known as White Peony Tea– is a rare tea from the   Fujian province of China. It’s the first two leaves that appear on the  Camellia sinensis plant. The leaves are immediately picked and are renowned   for their full fresh flavor. The leaves are so young that they often have a  white “furry” appearance on some of the leaves. (This is perfectly normal.) American Royal Tea adds the delicious piney taste and benefits of   wild organic foraged spruce tips. The tips are sustainably gathered and   promote healthy growth of the trees.

Both ingredients thrive in forested mountain coastal regions while spruce trees thrive in foggy forests that evoke   generations of mysterious stories and reverence. The result is a wonderfully   soothing fresh burst of the coastal foggy forest in a tea cup!

Like all of American Royal Tea blends, Fog City Vice is 100% organic, non-GMO and made in the U.S.A. The Bai Mu Dan tea is organic and fair-trade.

This tea doesn’t require extended steeping and can be brewed at 150-155 degrees and steeped for 1-3 minutes. (Longer steeping can result in a bitter, but stronger tea.  Though the aforementioned is the standard brewing time, the brewing results should be enjoyed according to the drinker’s taste.)
